The next Jan. 1 will come into effect the new rates Post 2011. The regular national charter, the most-used, updated to 1 euro cent.

This decision, adopted by the State Corporation Post Office, SA, aims at a gradual adjustment costs, income maintenance and, above all, quality and efficiency in the provision of universal postal service.

The national letters and cards require a postage of € 0.35 (instead of 0.34 euros) if they are standardized to a weight of 20 grams. The postage for letters between 21 and 50 grams would be 0.50 euros (instead of 0.45 euros).

As prices of international letters and cards have also been updated. Specifically, the standard letter rate up to 20 grams to Europe is updated on 1 cent euro and will require postage of € 0.65 (instead of 0.64) if it is ordinary and, if certified, the 2.95 euros (instead of 2.88 euros).

For its part, sent a standard letter up to 20 grams to the world (Outside Europe) will cost 0.80 euros (instead of 0.78 euros) if it is ordinary, and 3.10 euros (instead of 3.02 €) if certified.

Thus, in 2011, Spain will be among the countries of the European Union with the cheaper postal rates with a difference with the European average rate (0.45 euros) of 10 cents per shipment.

The House of Congress, has approved the vote on two amendments of the Senate, the Proposed Act amending the Law 28/2005 of 26 December, on the smoking and regulating the sale, supply, consumption and advertising of snuff products. Thus concludes the parliamentary proceedings of this Act, to be published in the Official Gazette for its entry into force on 2 January 2011.

El día 3 de diciembre, se ha publicado en el BOE el Real Decreto Ley 13/2010, de 3 de diciembre, de actuaciones en el ámbito fiscal, laboral y liberalizadoras para fomentar la inversión y la creación de empleo.

El texto normativo se inicia con un paquete de medidas de naturaleza tributaria entre las que se recoge un incremento del Impuesto de las Labores del Tabaco.

Este aumento se concreta, en el caso de los cigarrillos, en un alza del tipo impositivo específico desde 10.2 hasta 12.7 euros por mil cigarrillos y en la elevación del impuesto mínimo hasta 116.9 euros per thousand cigarettes from 91.3 euros which was today.
